Skillman, CRM, FAI President, Past President of ARMA International, begins terms as President for the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) Laguna Woods, CA. — The Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), an international certifying body for Records and Information Management Professionals, confirms Juanita M. Skillman, CRM, FAI, as President, to begin term in January 1, 2012. Juanita Skillman, CRM, FAI, is the President of the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), the certifying body for the Certified Records Manager (CRM) credential. She retired last year from the Orange County Sanitation District where she was the Records Management Specialist. Her professional career also included Records Management Consulting and developing Records Management Programs for both public and private organizations. Prior to entering the Records and Information Management profession, she was a public school teacher and librarian. Ms. Skillman holds both B.S. and M.A. degrees from Western New Mexico University, and received her Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation in 1986. She is a Past President of ARMA International and served on the Board of Trustees for the ARMA International Educational Foundation for seven (7) years. She served as ICRM Regent for Legislation and Appeals before her election to the position of President-Elect in 2011. An experienced speaker and trainer, she is a long time member of Toastmasters International, and speaks frequently for ARMA and other business and professional groups.
