Dear Members,
The ICRM has many active and accomplished volunteers that work selflessly to give back to the RIM profession. The passion and dedication that our volunteers put into their work is clear; their talent deserves to be widely recognized and rewarded.
It is with great pleasure that we announce two additional awards to be granted at the ICRM Virtual Business Meeting on Friday, December 2 at 2:30pm ET.
ICRM Member of the Year Award
The ICRM Member of the Year Award honors an individual’s accomplishments and service to the ICRM over the last 18 months (as of July 1, 2022). A recipient of the ICRM Member of the Year Award is an active member or retired member in good standing who has contributed significantly to the ICRM through volunteer opportunities within the institute.
ICRM Lifetime Achievement Award
The ICRM Lifetime Achievement Award honors an individual’s accomplishments and service to the ICRM and the Records and Information Management profession over at least 10 years. Lifetime achievement indicates a significant positive impact to the ICRM, its members, and the Records and Information Management profession. A recipient of the ICRM Lifetime Achievement Award is a CRM or retired CRM in good standing who has contributed significantly to the ICRM throughout their career; one who has been a role model, leader, influencer, or mentor.
The established ICRM Mentor of the Year Award
The ICRM Mentor of the Year Award honors ICRM Mentors that have gone above and beyond in guiding their mentees through the exam process for at least one year. A recipient of the ICRM Mentor of the Year Award is a CRM in good standing who has contributed significantly to mentoring on behalf of ICRM.
Nominations forms will be available online on Monday, August 1. All nominations along with self-nominations are encouraged and welcomed.

As a CRM/CIGO, you will be under the ICRM umbrella and will not be responsible for an additional membership fee from ICRM, but you will be required to earn an additional 20 CMPs and remain a CRM in good standing.

ICRM Exam Prep Workshop Series with NIRMA

The ICRM is excited to partner with the Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA) as a marketing partner to host its ICRM Exam Prep Workshop series as post-symposium events August 8-10, 2022. ICRM Exam Prep Workshops will be hosted as a series of 4-hour half day workshops for CRA, CRM and Part 6 Practice Business Case. In addition, there will be two presentations offered a la carte to the end of the CRM Half Day Workshop for the Post Certification Specialty Designations for Nuclear Specialist and CRM/Federal Specialist. Each half day is offered for $129 per person and each of the one-hour specialty presentations offered at a rate of $50 per person.

Congratulations to Deborah Robbins, CRM for being chosen for this year's Alan Andolsen Mentor of the Year Award! From Phoenix, Arizona, Deborah is currently the Chair of the ICRM Mentoring Committee. She started mentoring in 2017 after becoming a CRM herself in November 2016. Deborah has successfully led virtual study groups of over 30 people from across the US and Canada. She actively promotes the importance of the CRM and CRA as well as the importance of becoming a mentor. “Deborah is a gifted teacher. As a mentor she is caring, encouraging, supportive and tireless in her efforts to help those around her…She goes out of her way to make herself available in both a group setting and one on one.”

The ICRM is excited to host an in-person Exam Prep Workshop Series on July 13, 2022 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center in Salt Lake City Utah, in conjunction with it's long-standing strategic marketing partner, the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA).
