Candidate Bio

Explain any relevant committee or leadership experience you have that will benefit the ICRM in the advancement of its vision and mission.
I’ve been a volunteer in the RIM industry for over almost 20 years. I’ve volunteered with ARMA International on the local and regional level. I started volunteering with the ICRM shortly after I was credentialed.  It’s been an incredible experience working on the Exam Development Committee (EDC), Marketing Committee, and the Board of Regents. I’ve written exam questions for Parts 2 and 4 and participated in test bank reviews, outline updates, and helped deliver exam preparation workshops. Most recently, I’ve supported the ICRM website revision, membership and salary surveys, and the implementation of a communication and marketing plan designed to generate interest, engage our social media followers, and provide value to our members and partners.

What is your leadership background in terms of managing organizational growth and related challenges and opportunities?
See above.

What experience do you have in building high-functioning work teams and stakeholder relationships at your workplace and/or with association boards?

What would you do to advance the future of the ICRM?
Our evolution in this space is largely reliant on the market perception of our credential offerings. I am committed to enhancing our outreach strategies beyond traditional methods. I envision a dynamic approach that integrates advanced technology into our communication platforms, including the addition of video content to amplify our message and engage our audience more effectively.

Throughout the upcoming term, I will prioritize expanding our marketing initiatives to cultivate a robust virtual and in-person presence. This includes leading efforts to elevate our visibility at key industry events across local, regional, national, and international stages. I will champion initiatives that foster virtual networking opportunities, provide valuable salary reports, and develop targeted campaigns aimed at highlighting the unique contributions our credentialed members bring to organizations.

As Marketing and Communications Regent, I will use this next term to drive a modern engagement strategy, leveraging technology to propel our outreach efforts and ensure our ICRM community remains at the forefront of industry awareness and influence.
