Nomination Form must be submitted by September 1

An ICRM Mentor guides our candidates through the exam process and is able to point them in the right direction. Good mentors are passionate people who enjoy the role they play in helping others achieve their CRM certification.  The Institute of Certified Records Managers recognizes those ICRM Mentors that have gone above and beyond in guiding their mentees through the exam process.

Qualifications the ICRM Mentor of the Year Award are:

A Certified Records Manager (CRM) in good standing who has contributed significantly to mentoring on behalf of ICRM.  Individuals may nominate themselves, be nominated by an ICRM member or non-member (i.e. President of an ARMA Chapter or employer), and meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Involved in individual mentoring and coaching over a longer than one-year period and have impacted more than one individual
  2. Not a previous winner of the ICRM “Mentor of the Year Award”
  3. Former Board members are eligible two years after their departure from the Board
  4. The ICRM may take other relevant information into account.

Describe how/why the candidate is recognized as a respected leader in RIM.
Describe how candidate inspired and mentored those in the RIM profession. Provide examples of impact and/or outcomes where applicable. Inspirational stories of specific cases are encouraged.
