The Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) is excited to announce its membership in the newly established Global Information Consortium (GIC). This international community is dedicated to transforming the information management profession. The GIC's mission is to harness collective expertise to promote the importance of information governance through enhanced networking, career advancement, collaboration, and the promotion of best practices. Supporting the Career Advancement of the Information Profession
Leaders from the ICRM and the National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (NAGARA) are co-chairs of a dynamic GIC Working Group dedicated to revolutionizing career advancement in the information profession. The group’s primary areas of focus are raising awareness in Human Resources and at the C-suite level, supporting the recruitment of the next generation, and developing and amplifying career pathways. This collaborative effort aims to build a global framework that will empower professionals and elevate the field to new heights.

Ready to Shape the Future of Our Profession? Get Involved!
We’re currently looking for 5 to 10 dedicated ICRM members in good standing (CRM, CRA, FED, and NS)  to join the Working Group for up to 12 months. This group's initial work will involve aggregating and assessing existing career resources, setting the stage for groundbreaking developments and opportunities.
