Carol Ann Brock, age 68, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on May 31, 2024. Born on August 14, 1955, Carol lived a fulfilling life marked by dedication to her family, career, and many passions.
Carol was a proud graduate of Columbia College, the University of Nebraska, and the University of Texas at Austin. She pursued a distinguished career in records management, working for several government agencies and consulting groups, and most recently for Simplot. Her expertise and commitment earned her the respect and admiration from colleagues and peers.
In addition to her professional achievements, Carol was a devoted yoga enthusiast and teacher. She found joy and tranquility in yoga, sharing her knowledge and love for the practice with many.
Carol is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rita and Tom Brock and her brother Tom Brock. She is survived by her brother Rick Brock and his wife Beth Brock, her sister Emmy Weber and her husband Stephen Weber, her cherished daughter, Jessica Brock, and her three grandchildren, Bella Brock, Jacob Shahzad, and Adam Shahzad, who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her loving partner, Ron Theis, who stood by her side through thick and thin.
Carol’s legacy of kindness, strength, and perseverance will forever be remembered by those who knew her. Her warm smile, compassionate nature, and love of dogs will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
In a continuation of her spirit of service, Carol donated her body to science. A celebration of life for Carol will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's name to either The Lung Cancer Research Foundation or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
