The annual seminar supports FRMA’s objectives to promote cooperation and the exchange of information among individuals and agencies interested in Florida government records; to foster and promote a better public understanding of Florida Statutes, regulations, and Florida’s Public Records Laws; to cooperate with local, state, regional, national, and international records management organizations, to encourage the continuous exchange of information among Florida government archives and records management agencies to improve programs and services; to promote education and training in Florida government records and information management; and to promote the effective and efficient use of new technologies to manage information.
